20/03/2013 JSC Alliance Energy has completed the third of the construction work for HPP
The company, JSC Alliance Energy has started the construction of hydropower plant Nabeghlavi HPP in the village Buksie, Guria region based on the memorandum of understanding signed between JSC Alliance Energy and Georgian Government on November 18th, 2011. The international audit company, BDO has prepared an audited report on the investments conducted by the company during January – November, 2012. According to the report, the company has invested around 900,000 GEL in the project. The overall project value is 2.800,000 USD. As of February 2013, the company has already completed the third of the construction work. The construction of dam and tunnel is currently underway. The agreement will be signed in a near future for purchasing turbines from international manufacturer, BFL Hydro. Around 60 local workers are employed at the site. JSC Alliance Energy is a newly-established energy company in Georgia aiming to take advantages of the opportunities in the local energy market and develop renewable energy projects in the hydro, wind, solar and thermal power sectors. The company is following the principles of sustainable development and is offering construction and consulting services in the operation of micro, small and big hydroelectric power plants.
