Alliance Group Holding (AGH), 14 NGOs and private sector representatives established the Coalition for Financial Education.

The presentation ceremony was held at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi. Mr. Aieti Kukava, Chief Executive Officer of AGH and Ms. Magda Saikidze, Project Manager of AGH represent the organization.

Coalition for Financial Capabilities is unique private sector initiative to increase the level of financial education and capabilities of Georgian citizens. Financial capabilities encapsulate consumers’ knowledge, skills, attitudes and motivation used for effective decisions in dealing with financial products for the well-being of individuals, families and communities.

The Coalition is aiming to mobilize private sector actors, contribute towards an effective coordination and experience sharing amongst its members and support the cooperation with public sector players with a view of developing and effectively implementing the National Strategy on Financial Capabilities.

The event, highlighted the vision, objectives and future plans of the Coalition, brought together representatives of the executive, legislative and judicial branches, financial regulators, international diplomatic corps, civil society and media organizations.
